In the same 2011, he collaborated with the popular Nigerian rapper, Naeto C in a single titled ‘Back When’. Davido’s Back When song became a success and was accepted by the Nigerian audience.

In 2015, Davido was caught up in a baby mama scandal as he was accused of impregnating Sophia Momodu. The Adeleke family and the Momodu family fought toe-to-toe over the custody of the child who was later identified as Imade Adeleke.
Davido told his own side of the story that his baby mama, Sophia Momodu was into drugs. He claimed that she was a drug addict and a smoker at the time when she was breastfeeding the child. Consequently, the child fell sick shortly after birth.
So Davido decided to fly the young child out of the country for medical reasons and the flight documents excluded that of the child’s mother, Sophia Momodu.
This caused a frenzy at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos when Davido was apprehended by the Nigerian Police officers.
According to them, his baby mama (Sophia Momodu) reported him to the law enforcement agencies that he was trying to abscond with their child.
