Step 2: Register for MTN SME Data. Upon your registration, the default PIN is 0000 (you can still change this later on).

Step 3: After you must have registered on the platform, you’ll be required to change your default MTN Data share PIN from ‘0000’ to any another four-digit number of your choice.

Step 4: Fund your account and subscribe for any SME data bundle.

  1. 10GB @ ₦7,500 for 30 days.

When Will MTN SME Data Of Beneficiary Expire?

When a sponsor shares part of his data bundle to his beneficiary, the data is valid until the data bundle of the sponsor expires.

For instance, if a sponsor purchased the 10GB data plan for ₦7,500 (30 days validity) on 1st April 2019 and he shares data to his beneficiary on 20th April 2019, the beneficiary’s data will expire on 30th April 2019 and not 20th of May 2019. So ensure that you always fund your MTN SME data account to extend the validity.

How To Check My Remaining MTN Data Balance?

To check your data balance, send the SMS ‘Databalance ‘ to 131. Alternatively, you can tell your customers to check their data balance by dialling the code *461*7#.
